{"id":199,"date":"2007-07-30T23:17:47","date_gmt":"2007-07-30T14:17:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shiga-ken.com\/blog\/?p=199"},"modified":"2015-10-25T05:14:05","modified_gmt":"2015-10-24T20:14:05","slug":"met-with-koka-international-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiga-ken.com\/blog\/2007\/07\/met-with-koka-international-society\/","title":{"rendered":"Met with Koka International Society"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/photoguide.jp\/w\/images\/thumb\/d\/d2\/Shigakokakokusai.jpg\/300px-Shigakokakokusai.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today I went to <a href=\"https:\/\/photoguide.jp\/txt\/Koka,_Shiga\">Koka<\/a> and participated in the Koka International Society&#8217;s (KIS) Kokusai Koryu Salon gathering \u7532\u8cc0\u5e02\u56fd\u969b\u4ea4\u6d41\u5354 \u56fd\u969b\u4ea4\u6d41\u30b5\u30ed\u30f3. It was a special occasion because nine people from Koka&#8217;s sister cities in Michigan came. It was a chance for them to meet and talk with local Japanese folks. They arrived in Shiga on July 26 and really enjoyed their stay, especially since they stayed with host families in Koka.<\/p>\n<p>I also gave all the Michigan visitors a free copy of my <a href=\"https:\/\/photoguide.jp\/txt\/Lake_Biwa_Rowing_Song\">Lake Biwa Rowing Song<\/a> CD and introduced the song in English. It was my first time to give the CD to people from Michigan. So finally, \u7435\u7436\u6e56\u5468\u822a\u306e\u6b4c \u82f1\u8a9e\u7248\u3001\u6d77\u3092\u6e21\u308b\uff01<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" src=\"http:\/\/img.mixi.jp\/img\/emoji\/209.gif\" alt=\"\u3046\u308c\u3057\u3044\u9854\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed meeting the friendly staff of KIS. Their office is very near <a href=\"https:\/\/photoguide.jp\/txt\/Minakuchi_Jonan_Station\">Minakuchi-Jonan Station<\/a> on Ohmi Railways. Koka is the farthest place from where I am\u00a0in northern Shiga\u00a0so I don&#8217;t go there very often.
